Under the contract, BG Group will supply liquefied natural gas to the western Indian state of Gujarat
British oil and gas firm BG Group and India are set to sign a 20-year LNG deal worth up to USD 20bn, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.
Under the contract, BG Group will supply liquefied natural gas to the western Indian state of Gujarat.
The move follows a 2011 initial agreement between BG Group and India's state-owned Gujarat State Petroleum Corp for the potential supply of as much as 2.5 million tonnes of LNG per year.
BG Group will sign a final deal this week, according to the Financial Times.
