Eigen Rolls out Efficient Work Platform for Lundin Norway’s Digitalisation Programme

The ‘Ingenuity’ platform provides a layer on top of Lundin’s existing systems to provide new digital capabilities and eliminate time spent understanding operational status, to allow engineers to focus on important tasks.
Eight areas of value have been identified and across just two of these, (productivity and efficiency metrics) the estimated savings are Kr.11Million, or year-on-year saving of 500 per cent per annum.
As an ongoing rollout of new functionality and more efficient working practices for operational digitalisation, it is initially targeting the areas of inefficiency offering immediate returns.
Functionality includes:
- Search across systems
- Event detection and alerting
- Fast access to related information from other systems
- Mobile apps
- Automated data capture for meetings and reports
- Digital working environment
- User configurable visualisation
- Real time risk visualisation
- Continuous Adaptive Risk and Trust Assessment (CARTA)
Commenting from Eigen, Murray Callander, CEO, said, “The platform is helping Lundin to evolve operations towards a more effective future through the step-by-step application of digital technology. By targeting areas delivering value and using a LEAN approach to delivery, the digitalisation project has delivered a great deal in a short space of time.”
