Subsea 7 has announced the award of a sizeable contract by Chevron U.S.A Inc. for the subsea installation services at the St. Malo field, located in the Walker Ridge area of the Gulf of Mexico. The St. Malo field is approximately 250 miles south of New Orleans.

Subsea 7 and Royal IHC successfully launched the fully integrated reel-lay vessel SEVEN VEGA. The ceremony took place at IHC’s shipyard in Krimpen aan den IJssel, The Netherlands, and was performed by Monica Th. Bjørkmann, Vice President for Subsea 7 in Norway.

Ashtead Technology, has successfully completed a subsea installation monitoring project for Subsea 7 in support of Equinor’s Utgard development, located in blocks 15/8 (NCS) and 16/18a (UKCS) of the central North Sea.
Oilfield technology firm Airborne Oil & Gas has commenced a qualification of a TCP Riser for deepwater and dynamic applications for a major operator in South America in collaboration with Subsea 7, effective today (26 June 2018).
