AFGlobal completes integration of VerdErg Connectors

30th September 2014

AFGlobal Corporation today announces that it has completed its integration of VerdErg Connectors Limited, a UK based supplier of customised subsea pipeline and control connection systems

AFGlobal completes integration of VerdErg Connectors

AFGlobal acquired VerdErg Connectors in late June of this year.

This acquisition strengthens AFGlobal’s international OEM position in the offshore oil and gas industry. It also broadens the products and services within the company’s Connectors & Sealing Technologies business unit.

AFGlobal’s position in deepwater production is further augmented with the inclusion of VerdErg’s field proven diverless connection solutions for jumpers, pipelines, production risers, umbilicals, repair and ROV tooling, as well as direct management of the fabrication, system integration, maintenance support and aftermarket care.

“The advantage for our clients is that we can now offer systems—from diver-assisted bolted connections to topside flanges and fittings to advanced deepwater diverless connection solutions—supporting an entire project from one source,” commented Gean Stalcup, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We will continue to build on our strategy to create reliable and cost-effective production solutions for the industry.”

VerdErg Connectors Ltd’s main office is located in Woking, Surrey. The company also has an assembly and testing facility near Liverpool, England. VerdErg was established in 1979.

AFGlobal Corporation is a privately-held Houston-based company with nearly 40 facilities worldwide. The company operates across the offshore drilling, onshore stimulation and subsea production segments of the oil and gas industry. AFGlobal also provides products and services to the general industrial, aerospace and power generation industries, offering a broad range of both highly-engineered and general forged products, as well as complementary aftermarket services.
