Ezion awarded USD 63.9m contract for rig use in the Middle East

Ezion Holdings has secured a charter contract with a value of approximately USD 63.9m to provide a major – unnamed – oil company with a service rig for its Middle Eastern plays in a contract expected to last over the five years

The service rig is expected to be deployed and working in the offshore oil and gas fields in the Middle East before end 2014 after its refurbishment and upgrading.

This is the second Middle Eastern contract in a month for the Singapore-listed firm.
